Historic Opportunity - New Immigration Program for Undocumented Spouses of U.S. Citizens to Obtain Permanent Residency (Green Card)

Writer: Noha Immigration LawNoha Immigration Law

UPDATE (9-8-2024): Late last week, a federal judge in Texas extended the stay of the Family Parole in Place ("PIP") program (also known as the "Keeping Families Together" program). This means that, through September 23, 2024, USCIS cannot approve any PIP applications. USCIS is continuing to accept applications; they just cannot approve them. The litigation is proceeding quickly. Please contact us or another reputable immigration attorney for the latest, before you file a PIP application.

(Original post 7-11-2024): This week, President Biden announced a new immigration program that would help the spouses of U.S. citizens to obtain green cards (or, permanent residency status), without having to leave the United States. The foreign-born spouse must have been present in the U.S. for ten (10) years prior to June 17, 2024. We are waiting on more details about eligibility and the application process. If you think this might apply to you, or someone you care about, please contact us or another reputable immigration attorney. More information is available in the flyer below.
